Find out more about Matter, if your appliance is Matter enabled, how to get started and what experience you can expect with Matter and home appliances.
Matter is a revolutionary connectivity standard designed to bridge the gap between various smart devices, regardless of their manufacturer, enabling them to work together seamlessly.
You can find more information about Matter on the CSA official website:
The first Matter enabled appliances by BSH Home Appliances are offered in the Cooling Appliances category. You can find out if an appliance is Matter enabled on the product page of the products on the respective websites for Siemens, Bosch, Neff, Gaggenau, Thermador products.
- Due to technical requirements to enable Matter, our existing products will not be Matter enabled. BSH will focus on our future products to be Matter enabled.
Fortunately, through our Home Connect app and the existing partnerships, you are able to enable your home appliances with the majority of your favorite smart home platforms.
The different appliance groups, will support different Matter versions, as the releases of the support for Matter will differ from product to product. BSH will continuously do our best to support the latest version of Matter, to ensure the highest level of compatibility, security and convenience. To find out exactly which Matter features are supported, please consult the product information pages for your respective product on the website of your appliance’s brand.

Therefore, please expect a basic user experience, while BSH, our industry partners and smart home platforms, continue to work on expanding the possibilities with Matter and the support for added value use cases for our consumers.
The majority of major smart home platforms already support Matter, however the support for home appliances is still in its early stages. Please check the websites of your preferred smart home platforms if they already support home appliances. Should this not yet be the case, we encourage you to reach out to them, to get support enabled as soon as possible.
BSH will continue to collaborate with all major smart home platforms to enable support for home appliances via Matter as well as expand the possibilities and value added experiences we can enable with Matter.
