There is nothing more annoying than turning a nice dinner into a mountain of dirty dishes because you have run out of dishwasher tabs again.
With Amazon Alexa and its smart reordering service, running out of tabs will become a thing of the past. How? It’s quite simple.
The service works like this: After you run a dishwasher program, Alexa knows that your dishwasher was used or your dishwasher cleaned your dishes with a dishwasher tab. When the number of remaining tabs falls below a certain number, you will receive a reminder via email. This notification can then be used to conveniently make the purchase online on the spot.
To set this service up, you’ll need to connect your Alexa and Home Connect accounts. Once it’s done, activate Home Connect dishwasher skill in the Alexa app, set your smart reordering preferences, and purchase your favorite brand of dishwasher supplies via the Amazon marketplace. That’s it – now you’ll never run out of dishwasher tabs when you need them.
Please note that the reordering service within the Home Connect app interface is phased out and replaced by the Amazon service, which can be easily set up in the Amazon Alexa app.
