Valentine's Day has a tendency to sneak up when we least expect it, but don’t panic, you can still surprise your partner with a romantic breakfast in bed. Here’s how our smart home app can help!
Heat up the romance with FryingSensor
Let’s get the day started with some smart cooking: a delicious omelettete. Bosch and Neff’s FryingSensor or Siemens fryingSensor Plus will help you quickly whip up a perfect eggy dish with no chance of burning. Under the Control section for your hob, select the option Assist (Bosch hob), Dishes (Siemens hob) or Cooking Assistant (Neff hob). Under Select dish you will find various egg options, including the omelette. Click Next, check the frying level and adjust the duration. Home Connect then sends the correct setting straight to your hob. While the ingredients are sizzling use the time wisely and write a nice card for your partner while you wait. Sweet! The frying sensor* makes sure nothing burns by continuously monitoring the hob heat and automatically adjusting it if necessary. Your omelettete will be ready in no time. Get the card and breakfast on the tray and run to the bedroom. Good morning and happy Valentine's Day, breakfast should put a smile on your partner’s face! Valentine crisis averted, phew.
With coffeePlaylist you won't get cold feet
Breakfast is served and you’re getting comfy in bed again, but wait, you forgot the coffee! No problem. Use Home Connect to simply start your smart coffee machine remotely from bed without getting up again (and getting cold feet on the kitchen tiles). As the machine starts up, ask your partner what kind of coffee they’d like. Add it, along with your preferred style to a coffeePlaylist**, so the machine makes both your drinks one after the other. Select your coffee machine in the app, press the Add drink button under the Playlist option. Here you can select your favorite coffee and set other preferences such as strength, quantity and temperature. Then press Add to Playlist. When you’ve finished your romantic omelette, pop down to the kitchen and press Start on your app. Your machine will make your playlist drinks, and all you have to do is change the cups! With less time waiting for the machine to start up, you can spend more precious Valentine’s Day moments with your partner, and less in your kitchen.
