Some of you may already use Favorites in the Appliance overview. It’s the go-to option for quickstarting your most used programs. This practical shortcut is available for your favorite Home Connect recipes too. Have you seen how many recipes we have already stocked up for you? Time to start your smart kitchen recipe collection!
How to set up your Favorites
First, access your overview via the Recipe section. This is where you will find Favorites. Tap on it to view your currently saved recipes. Is your list empty? Then get started by using the search field. You can enter keywords like vegetarian or Pasta, or look for a specific meal, like Lasagna, for example.
Your search result and the following detail page will show a picture, a list of ingredients as well as the preparation steps. If you like what you see, simply tap on the heart icon. Et voilà, you created a Favorite. If you wish to browse on, you can go back to the search function using the back arrow. You can delete recipes from your collection easily: Just tap on the heart again to unmark it.

Daily inspiration gets easy with the Home Connect app. You can add as many recipes to your list as you like. Take your pick from your own selection or keep adding new ideas over and over again. The choice is yours – create your own exclusive collection, your best-of, your recipe empire. Don’t worry, there’s no need to ban your fancy cookbooks from the shelf. They look better anyway. But then again, they can’t talk to your smart home appliances.
